Possible risks when visiting an apiary

We would like to raise awareness about visiting our hives. For this reason, we would like to draw your attention to the following points:

  • Bees are, of course, animals kept by humans, but they remain unpredictable. We cannot prevent bees from stinging someone and, as a result, their venom from entering the human body.
  • Depending on each person’s constitution, physical sensitivity and mental vulnerability, a bee sting may cause pain, redness, swelling that may persist for varying lengths of time, dizziness, circulatory problems, fainting and even allergic shock. In extreme cases, allergic shock may lead to death.
  • You must inform the beekeeper if you know that you are allergic to bee venom.

We make every effort to ensure safe conditions with no danger to anyone. For this reason, the beekeeper’s instructions must be followed strictly and immediately.

Being aware of the risks mentioned above, I expressly release the beekeeper, Mathieu Garaud, from all liability on my behalf, as well as on behalf of my family members, my heirs, or any third party who may file a complaint on my behalf.
